The most important thing that happened last week was I had another dr. appointment on Monday. I was able to bat my eyelashes and smile and he did another ultrasound. I think he would have done one anyway though because he tried to hear the baby's heartbeat on the doppler and wasn't able to find it. But anyway, all of that to get to the fact that IT'S A GIRL!!

I was 14 weeks and 2 days which is earlier than they would normally do a gender ultrasound, but he was pretty convinced that it was a girl. He did say he had the right to take it back in 4 weeks when he did another one, but like I said he was pretty sure so we are going with that. So much so that we are painting pink. We had the painters scheduled to come this Wednesday to do the upstairs bedrooms anyway, so the worst that could happen is we have to have him come back and paint blue over the pink. Not the end of the world, right? Here is another picture. She was quite active so he had to be quick to catch the pictures, but you can see her spine in this one.

The weekend before last we made a trip up to IKEA and found some stuff for the game room and media room. We also found dining room furniture and it is being delivered on Wednesday. I ordered baby room furniture and it should be here in the next week as well - except for the crib that is on back order until the end of May :( With all that the house if finally coming together. It's actually starting to look like we actually live there instead of just moved in.
We are looking forward to Mom visiting next week. She gets in on Wednesday night and will be here until Sunday. We are also hoping that Grandma and Grandpa Miller are able to stop by on their way home from South Texas. It will be nice to see all of them.

I can't wait to get there. I am going to enjoy just sitting in your new home that you deserve so much and taking in all the sites. OH and checking out baby's room too. Do you have a "grandma" room too?? We did when we built out house. OH that is right Nana stayed for months at a time:) Although we really did enjoy her staying that long....I won't do that ok Danny. It is sounding more hopeful about Grandma and Grandpa's stopping so lets keep our fingers crossed.
Love you all, Grandma of that beautiful little girl.
COngratulations!!!
Congratulations to both of you. The house sounds like it is coming along great. Excited to here all is well and she is progressing. You didn't say how you were feeling but must be pretty good with all the activity going on with the track meet. Have a great time with your mom. Love you, Aunt Cella
Congrats on everything, sounds like everything is coming together well. You are ahead of us with the furniture on order....way to go! I guess I better get my butt in gear and order some soon, we were sort of holding out hope we'd move beforehand, but oh well.
