Halloween Preview

Kennedy has several Halloween outfits so we had to start wearing them earlier this week. The pink skeleton is in the previous post and we have two more from today. We had to have a wardrobe change after an eating accident :)

One Month Old Already!

One month old and...

Wants to be held all the time

Isn't fond of her bassinet (but did actually sleep there for 4+ hours this morning). YEH

Is a great sleeper at night, just not always where Mommy or Daddy want her to sleep.

Lifts her head a lot

Loves watching her mobile on her swing

Likes to go for rides in the car

Loves her bath time...it calms her almost immediately. Of course, that means she doesn't like getting out when it's over

Is a good little girl when we go places

Likes taking walks (most of the time) at the park

Likes to "talk" to Daddy when he is trying to catch up on his sports on ESPN

Finds her way into Mommy & Daddy's heart more and more each day. Who knew it was possible to love someone so much?

2 Weeks Old

Kennedy had her 2 week appointment yesterday. She isn't quite up to her birth weight but the doctor isn't concerned because she lost quite a bit of weight in the first few days. When we took her back on the Monday after she was born (4 days old) she was down to 7lbs 13oz, but 2 days later she was up to 8lbs 3.5oz. Yesterday she was 8lbs 13oz, so she is getting there. We also had to go get her second PKU test yesterday, she did really well considering someone was pricking her foot.

The sun has finally come out around here so that is nice. It has been raining and cloudy ever since we came home. I'm hoping it will warm up a little bit more so we can actually go for a walk and get some fresh air.

Monday night Danny's mom and stepdad came in for a few days to meet their new granddaughter. They went back to Indiana yesterday (Thursday) morning and then are heading to Florida for the winter tomorrow.



Tuesday Kennedy made her first appearance at the Natatorium for Danny's swim meet. She was very good and made it through the entire meet. All the kids and parents were excited to finally meet her.



Aunt Jessica was getting anxious to see some updated pictures, so here are some other pictures that have been taken in the last few days.

PS - Kennedy said to tell Makayla Happy Birthday! She turned 5 on Monday. We love you, Makayla. (and Caden, Cole and Connor). We can't wait for you to meet Kennedy at Christmas.

Are You Ready For Some Football!?!?!

Kennedy arrived in time to take in the big game last night. Grandma was the only Packer fan in the room, but Kennedy posed for some pictures that will satisfy fans everywhere.

We Are Home!

We were discharged from the hospital on Saturday and got home about 3:30 or so. Kennedy did very well with her 1st car ride...all 5 minutes of it. We are getting settled at home. The first night was a little rough, but last night was better.

She had a check up this afternoon and was down to 7 lbs 13 oz so we have to go back on Wednesday to have a weight check. Nothing to be too concerned about at this point.
