2 Month Check Up

Kennedy had her 2 month appointment today. Dr. Daniels said that she was doing great. She weighs 9lbs 14 oz and is 22 inches long. Her weight was a little less that a few weeks ago when we went but they weighed her with clothes on then. Both her height and weight were right at the 50th percentile.

Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow

This is what we woke up to this morning. Of course, it was just a few flakes for about an hour or so and none of it stayed, but it makes it seem more like Christmas time down here in Texas :)

Playdates, New Bed & Smiles

Kennedy her first friend over to the house a little over a week ago. My friend, Megan, had a little girl in August. Hannah was actually due a few days after Kennedy, but decided to come 6 weeks early. She is the reason that I drove around with the carseat base in my car for a month and a half before Kennedy arrived. Once I told Danny that Megan had Hannah he told me I needed to get that in the car ASAP :)


We moved Kennedy from the basinett to the pack and play last week. We figured we better get her used to it before we head up north for Christmas. She has done great...still sleeping all night! We are so lucky!


She is smiling and laughing more and more every day. Of course I can't catch the laughs on the video camera just yet.



I bought a sling the other day at Target in the hopes that she would like it and I could have two hands free during those times where she wants to be held. She loves it! The other day she had fallen asleep (like she usually does) and I took it off and put it on the floor. She slept like this for probably another 30-45 minutes.

Sorry it's been so long

In talking to Mom last night she informed me that the blog needed to be updated. Kennedy is growning like a weed. We measured her the other day and she was already 24 inches and she weighs just over 10 pounds. She is sleeping like a champ at night...she must know how her Mommy & Daddy love their sleep! She goes to bed about 10:30 and will sleep until between 7 and 8. YEH!!! Hopefully that won't get completely out of wack when we travel for Christmas. She started really smiling about a week and a half ago and is making cooing sounds. I am so glad that I am able to stay home with her because I would have had to go back this week and I would be missing all that during the day :(

Kennedy and I will be making the trip up North without Daddy on December 16th. Hopefully everything will go smoothly at the airport and on the plane. Danny will be joining is on Christmas Eve and we will all be going back on the 28th. He has practice until the 23rd and only has 5 days off of practice over Christmas Break. Hopefully we will be able to see a lot of your while we are there. Kennedy is especially excited to meet Grandpa and all her aunts, uncles and cousins!! And to see Grandma again.

Sarah Came to Visit

My cousin, Sarah, came to visit this week and the weather has been gorgeous. She is not looking forward to going back to the Wisconsin weather today. We took a few trips to the park and took in 2 volleyball games and a football game. Here are a few pictures from this week.

Halloween

Here is a family picture from Halloween. Not a great one, but it is all we have. Danny came home from his swim meet with costumes and he had a great time handing out candy to the neighborhood kids and his swimmers that came trick or treating.
